From the Salisbury Ski Jump

Despite some rejiggering of the schedule because of rain on Sunday, the Salisbury Winter Sports Association put on another great event this past weekend, including the Human Dogsled Race on Friday.  It was great to see so many neighbors and old friends, and meet some new ones.   A special shout out to Dana Lemay, who introduced herself because she’d seen me running in town for so many years and felt like she knew me already.  Turns out Dana also knew my mother, who died in November.  Dana is a massage therapist at Noble Horizons, and one of the many wonderful staff members there who took such beautiful care of my mother at the end of her life.  They filled my mother’s life with warmth and laughter and I will always be grateful to them.
